On June 25th, Masen Services*, the company in charge of managing the infrastructure of Masen's energy complexes, has obtained three certifications: the first for its quality management system, the second for its health and safety management system, and the last for its environmental management system.

Since its creation, Masen Services has ensured compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards relating to the protection of people and the environment, and has placed the satisfaction of its stakeholders at the heart of its missions.
The triple certification issued by Bureau Veritas Certification, according to the ISO 14001 (2015 version), ISO 45001 (2018 version), and ISO 9001 (2015 version) standards, is a recognition of this constant concern for compliance with international standards and national legal and regulatory requirements.
Regarding its environmental policy, Masen Services was already distinguished back in 2017 as one of the first organizations in Morocco to be certified ISO 14001 in its latest version (2015). Getting certified ISO 14001 again in 2021 demonstrates the subsidiary's strong environmental commitment.
In terms of health and safety, Masen Services has been transitioning from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001 since 2019. Obtaining this new certification published in 2018 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a recognition of the subsidiary's health and safety management system performance, which relies on an innovative managerial approach to prevent workplace accidents, illnesses, and environmental impacts.
As for its quality management system (QMS), the subsidiary has put in place mechanisms to improve the performance of its processes and streamline its operation to meet the expectations of its various stakeholders. This QMS also enables the company to capitalize on its internal expertise through the development of individual and collective knowledge and skills. In this sense, the ISO 9001 (2015) certification strengthens Masen Services' role as a trusted third party for its partners and confirms its commitment to operational excellence.
Thanks to these three certifications, Masen Services moves from an SE integrated management system towards a QSE integrated management system, thus reinforcing its commitment to satisfy the requirements applicable to its business, in terms of quality, health, safety, and environment, while taking into account the compliance obligations of all stakeholders, particularly Masen’s.
